Caroline joined TRG in January of 2014 and currently serves as a Senior Institutional Capacity Building & Operations Associate, primarily supporting the Preparedness & Response (P&R) project under USAID’s Emerging Pandemic Threats 2 Program (EPT-2). In her role with P&R, she supports capacity building efforts with national governments in Africa and Southeast Asia to establish and strengthen the systems, policies, and practices necessary for the prevention, detection, response, and control of outbreaks of infectious diseases. Before coming to TRG, Caroline resided in Spain, where she worked in monitoring and evaluation consulting and in the programs office of a global health NGO with projects in Latin America and West Africa. Caroline received her Master’s degree in International Development and NGO Management from the University of Granada, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Psychology from Providence College. She also obtained a post-graduate certificate in Project Management for International Development from the Open University of Catalonia in Barcelona. She is fluent in Spanish and when not in the office can be found playing tennis, studying languages or out on a lake in New Hampshire.
