Clare Gibson-Giraud joined TRG in October 2012. She is a highly skilled and experienced senior organizational development and training consultant, with over 20 years of small business experience and over 10 years of consulting in both private sector and development work. Since 2006, Ms. Giraud has contributed as a team leader, organizational development advisor/consultant, facilitator, trainer and instructional designer for Grant Management Solutions and MSH’s Leadership, Management and Sustainability Project (LMS), as well as co-designer and facilitator of a number of large-scale experiential executive and consultant trainings for development projects and corporate clients. She has provided support in governance, organization development, client management, small business development, marketing, communications and grants management in Europe and in a variety of developing countries, including Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Haiti, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Senegal and Tunisia. Ms. Giraud has extensive experience and familiarity with the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria, particularly at the country level working with Principal Recipients and Country Coordinating Mechanisms. She is a trained facilitator for Human Dynamics International. Ms. Giraud has British/French dual nationality; after living in South-west France for over 30 years, she is bilingual in English and French. Her BA is in Drama and French from Bristol University, England. She completed a Master’s Program in Wine Law, Economics and Management at the University of Bordeaux but did not submit the final thesis due to motherhood! As well as writing and performing comedy sketches, she has written and directed five plays for a French amateur theatre company.
