Jessica Pic joined the TRG team in fall 2016 as a Learning Technology Specialist. She is responsible for developing e-learning courses, synchronous webinars, and videos and graphics for clients such as the U.S. Forest Service, USAID Office of Transition Initiatives, World Bank Group, and CGIAR. Prior to joining TRG, Jessica served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mongolia where she taught English in a rural community. After her service, Jessica worked for several years in the nonprofit sector, focusing on women’s health, education, and environmental issues in the United States and Guatemala. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Documentary Film from Wake Forest University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from the College of William and Mary. Her creative work has been screened at film festivals and featured in academic institutions and museums. Jessica is currently working on her PhD in Education with concentration in Learning Technology Design Research at George Mason University. Jessica is passionate about developing effective multimedia for enhancing learning and comprehension. She speaks Mongolian, Spanish, and is attempting to learn French. In her free time, Jessica races triathlons, volunteers with local organizations in D.C., and enjoys hiking and photography.
