Kim Hanson joined TRG in November 2015. As the Business Development Associate, she supports the proposal development process, liaises with consultants and clients, produces marketing materials, and manages the TRG website. From 2014-2015 Kim was a Global Health Corps Fellow in Kampala, Uganda, where she fundraised for a pediatric HIV/health systems strengthening NGO. Other prior international development experience includes providing communications and knowledge management support to the child health team at USAID’s Maternal & Child Survival Program (MCSP) and developing global activism curricula at Plan International USA. Kim is an alum of leadership development organizations such as New Leaders Council Rhode Island, AmeriCorps VISTA, and HOBY. She currently sits on the board of Deeper Missions, which provides environmentally sustainable energy and WASH solutions to schools in Sierra Leone and Kenya. Kim holds an M.A. in International Development from Clark University. She is fascinated by citizen diplomacy and social entrepreneurship and intends to found her own organization at the intersection of these interests. Kim’s hobbies include community theatre and indie filmmaking.
