Accounting Intern
Position Summary:
Accounting Intern will provide administrative and accounting support to the Finance and Accounting Department. Responsibilities will be inclusive of document control, data entry, reconciliation, and working in various areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and contracts administration.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
- Support the following areas with data entry, report creation/administration, reconciliations, and document control.
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Timekeeping
- Payroll
- Contract Administration/Project Accounting
- Other Specific Accounting Responsibilities.
- Cash Receipts
- Bank Deposits
- Bank Reconciliations
- Pulling, Copying, and compiling documents in support of invoice preparation
- Support Audits
- Other assigned duties in support of the accounting daily operations.
- Document management.
- Report Distribution
- Maintaining department filing system.
- Other assigned functions within the department.
Qualifications, Abilities, and Education Requirements:
- Currently matriculating, working towards a degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Taken and passed Accounting 101
- Organizational Skills
- Detail Orientated
- Multi-Tasking
- Flexible in transitioning from one task to another
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Account Reconciliation, and Accounting Software experience.

Organizational Development and Training Specialist
Training Resources Group, Inc. is an employee-owned consulting firm based in Arlington, Virginia. TRG provides organizational development and training services for U.S. government agencies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and private sector/commercial clients.
Position Summary:
TRG’s full time consulting staff provides organizational development, training, and executive coaching services for clients in the U.S. and throughout the world. Activities include executive coaching, organizational assessment, design and facilitation of strategic planning processes, retreats, and team strengthening activities. Training focuses on leadership and management development, communication skills, and numerous other content areas. Much of TRG’s work is conducted as part of foreign assistance programs and involves bringing the full range of training, OD, and process skills to international development projects. We often collaborate closely with subject matter experts in such areas as international health, environment, agriculture, and post-conflict operations.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data to identify needs for training and organizational development interventions
- Design and facilitate retreats, team-building programs and strategic planning initiatives
- Develop and deliver leadership, management and technical training programs
- Provide executive coaching
- Apply organizational development, training, facilitation, and related skills and experience as part of large scale development projects and technical assistance projects in the developing world.
Qualifications, Abilities, and Education Requirements:
- Education - Master’s degree or equivalent education/work experience in a related field (i.e., organizational development, adult education, international development, international or multicultural communication, international business, or management).
- Experience – A minimum of seven to ten years of full-time work experience as an internal or independent trainer and organizational development practitioner. Experience should include organizational development, management and leadership training, training needs assessment, coaching, and/or related activities.
- Key Skills -
- Extraordinary facilitation skills. Demonstrated comfort, confidence, and effectiveness providing OD and training services for diverse client groups in a broad variety of settings, both domestic and international.
- Ability to listen, absorb, and synthesize, either orally or in writing, the key themes from data gathered in interviews, background documents, and group discussions.
- Flexibility to craft a customized approach that is entirely focused on the clients’ needs and business goals.
- Skilled in applying and appropriately adapting OD models and frameworks.
- Interest and ability in building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues – a natural connector who sustains work opportunities for themselves and others.
- Genuine and demonstrated curiosity about our craft (training and organizational development) and how it can contribute to our clients’ success.
- Interest in and ability to quickly learn the technical language, key issues, and culture of our client organizations.
- Preferred Skills and Experience
- Fluency in French is desired (not required).
- Strong writing skills.
- Interest and experience in applying emerging technologies for Organizational Development and Training.
- Life and/or work experience in developing country settings.
- Familiarity with U.S. government contracting.

Training and OD Consultant: Specialization in Technology for Learning and Facilitation
Training Resources Group, Inc. is an employee-owned management consulting firm based in Arlington, Virginia. TRG provides organizational development and training services for U.S. government agencies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and non-profits, and associations.
TRG is experiencing rapid growth in demand in many of our client systems for utilizing technology to support our core training and OD services, and we are taking a number of steps to expand our internal development and delivery capabilities. We are seeking an experienced organizational development consultant/trainer with well-developed skills in blended and other forms of e-learning, virtual facilitation, and social media and networking to become a member of corporate team.
While this staff person would specialize in the application of internet-based technologies to OD and training, he or she would be expected to work with clients to identify learning needs and based on those needs, choose and develop the best mix of interventions to achieve learning results. The ideal candidate for this position would bring core skills and knowledge in training, facilitation and organizational development as well as specialized experience and skills in key areas including the design and delivery of blended learning programs, synchronous facilitation of meetings and other events, and the use of social media to share knowledge and enhance the learning process. Preferably the candidate will have experience in a variety of contexts, including work with commercial firms and government agencies in the US and in international settings including developing countries. The position will be based at TRG’s Arlington, VA headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training and OD interventions in collaboration with clients and other subject matter experts.
- Contribute to strategic discussions on how technology can best enhance TRG’s services.
- Build knowledge and skills related to internet based technologies within the TRG community through mentoring, information sharing and training.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in training, human resources development or other relevant area;
- Minimum of five years of experience in the design and delivery of adult learning programs;
- Minimum of five years of experience in the design and delivery of training and OD interventions that integrate and utilize technology (e.g., blended/e-learning, synchronous facilitation, using social media to facilitate learning).
- Current knowledge of a broad range of technology trends, methods and resources including tools and applications such as learning management systems and content learning management systems, authoring tools, applications that support t synchronous and asynchronous learning, and social media and networking tools.
