Andrea Richards Scott is an organizational development consultant, coach, facilitator, and trainer with over 20 years of results-oriented experience in adult learning, communications, leadership training, organizational development, problem solving, program management, team-building, and team facilitation. She has delivered organizational development and leadership programs in corporate, non-profit, academic, government, and small business settings. Since joining TRG in July 2018, she has worked with a variety of clients including Georgia Legal Services, Resilience Food Security (USAID), and the Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA). She holds a Doctorate in Human and Organizational Learning from George Washington University’s Graduate School of Education and Human Development and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Georgia. She received her Professional Coach Certification from the International Coach Academy. Dr. Richards Scott was born in Jamaica, West Indies, grew up in New York City, and has lived in Maryland since 2000. She serves as the Board Chair for Manga African Dance, Inc., an Atlanta-based non-profit. She is also the adviser for the GW chapter of Golden Key National Honour Society, sits on the Steward Board for Reid Temple AME Church, and is a member of Sister Circle, a 25+ year-old book club community. She enjoys dabbling in home decorating; listening to gospel, jazz, and blues music; traveling with family and friends; feasting on a variety of cultural cuisine — especially Indian, Jamaican, Japanese, and Thai.
