Ariel Scharf joined TRG in August 2017. As the Business Development Associate, she supports the proposal development process, liaises with consultants and clients, produces marketing materials, and manages the TRG website. Prior to joining TRG, Ariel completed internships with the U.S. State Department and Women for Women International, as well as consulted on projects for the World Bank and Social Impact. Ariel holds a Master’s in International Development from George Washington University, and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Middle East Studies from University of Mary Washington. She has also studied abroad in Honudras and Morocco. Ariel’s professional interests include gender in education in developing countries, post-conflict development, mixed methods research, and monitoring & evaluation. Ariel’s hobbies include curling up with a good book, watching too much Netflix, hiking, and volunteering with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue.
