In partnership with Engility/IRG and Forum One, TRG will be working in collaboration with USAID over the next 5 years in enhance organizational learning in the areas of the environment.
The ECO project learning strategy includes looking at building knowledge and capacity for application through training, knowledge management, communications and facilitation. By offering this group of services, USAID and the TRG team are able to think and apply a comprehensive approach to meeting the dynamic needs of USAID staff working in the environment sectors as well as practitioners and stakeholders that are critical to achieving USAID’s mission.
In the first year of the project, the TRG team has delivered online and face to face training in DC and the field, offered webinars and virtual panel presentations on a variety of land tenure and resource management topics, development and enhancement of current websites, supported and development materials for two launch events, and facilitated numerous meeting and retreats.
In addition, this project will experiment with new M&E and adaptive management models and techniques to measure the effectiveness and impact of all learning programs and products. This approach directly relates the ECO project tasks with elements of each USAID Office’s policies and strategies.
