Eric Biltonen

Organizational Development Advisor, KDLT

Eric Biltonen started with TRG in May 2019. He works as the Organizational Development Advisor for the Knowledge, Data, Learning and Training Activity funded by USAID. In this role, he is part of the senior leadership team and is responsible for ensuring that the Bureau for Food Security creates a culture conducive to becoming an effective learning organization as it reorganizes to the Bureau of Resilience and Food Security. Prior to joining TRG, he worked as a Community Development Educator with the University of Wisconsin Extension and as a freelance consultant based in Southeast Asia. As a freelance consultant, he focused on the lower Mekong countries working on water resources issues. Eric earned a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Colorado State University and did a Post-Doc at the International Water Management Institute in Sri Lanka and Thailand. He enjoys performing both stand-up comedy and improv.
