Senior Business Development Associate
Kim Koroma-Tommy joined TRG in 2015. As the Senior Business Development Associate, she leads the development of major proposals, provides project management support for TRG’s contract with the US Forest Service, and pursues partnerships and new business opportunities through networking. Kim also serves as the Co-Chair of the Communications Committee and is a member of the Knowledge Management Committee and Business Development Task Force. From 2014-2015 she was a Global Health Corps Fellow in Kampala, Uganda, where she fundraised for a pediatric HIV/health systems strengthening NGO. Other prior international development experience includes providing communications and knowledge management support to the child health team at USAID’s Maternal & Child Survival Program (MCSP) and developing global activism curricula at Plan International USA. Kim is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and an alum of leadership development organizations such as New Leaders Council Rhode Island, AmeriCorps VISTA, and HOBY. She is Board Vice President of Healthy Schools International, a non-profit which provides environmentally sustainable energy and WASH solutions to schools in Sierra Leone and Kenya. Kim holds an M.A. in International Development from Clark University. In her spare time, she skates with Free State Roller Derby. Kim resides in Bethesda with her partner.
