Lisa Howard-Grabman is a consultant, trainer, facilitator and certified professional coach with excellent interpersonal communication skills. With over 30 years of experience, she has empowered and assisted individuals, international organizations, and communities in transforming desired results into reality through participatory processes. She specializes in designing and facilitating participatory processes to engage communities as primary actors in community development programs and strengthen their capacity to achieve and sustain positive changes and results in their communities. She designs and delivers numerous training programs in management and technical subjects in public health and other sectors for communities, government and private sector organizations supported through USAID, World Bank, IMF, NIH, the Gates Foundation, the Department of State and other agencies. She also designs and facilitates staff retreats and workshops focused on management and leadership development, strategic and operational planning, team building, addressing specific team performance issues such as gender inequity, monitoring and evaluation, defining structures, roles & responsibilities, organizational learning and other topics. As a certified coach, she helps individuals and teams improve their performance at work and in life more generally. Her training in energy psychology techniques and approaches enhances her training and coaching work by equipping clients with helpful tools to reduce, and often overcome, their limiting beliefs and stress more efficiently and effectively. She served as TRG’s Board Chair from 2015-2017 and is currently serving as a Board member. She is fluent in Spanish.
