Knowledge Management & Learning Specialist, CEL
Sarah Ellison started at TRG in August of 2019. She works on the Communications Evidence and Learning (CEL) project where she is responsible for developing and implementing a blended learning strategy that strengthens the ability of USAID staff to implement impactful programming. Ms. Ellison has over ten years of experience working in community-based development and organizational capacity building. She has worked around the globe in 15 countries, having lived for 5 years in sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to her work at TRG, she worked at Pact, an international NGO, in their Washington D.C. headquarters on their capacity development team as well as from their Malawi country office as a project manager. She previously worked on supporting grassroots organizations in South Asia with the Global Fund for Children and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin. Ms. Ellison holds a Master’s degree in International Development with a focus on Gender and Education from American University in Washington D.C. and a Bachelor’s degree in History from The University of California – Los Angeles and is fluent in French and English. When not working, you can usually find Sarah painting, over-decorating for a minor holiday, traveling or watching travel shows, gardening, or playing hide and seek with her daughter.
